There are many books written by intelligent design scientists and scholars that explore the scientific evidence for intelligent design and the debate over evolution. But a new book published by Discovery Institute Press manages to be concerned with “both the origin and the end of man” in the same book! On this ID The Future, distinguished physician, successful novelist, and disaster preparedness expert Geoffrey Simmons is going to read to us a few scenes from his new thriller novel Oppenheimer’s Demon.

Simmons is author of two razor-sharp critiques of modern evolutionary theory, Billions of Missing Links and What Darwin Didn’t Know. Now, Simmons has masterfully combined his multifaceted array of gifts, experiences, and training to create Oppenheimer’s Demon, and he’s reading an exclusive set of scenes for us here on ID The Future, as well as giving us some interesting context about the characters and the nail-biting plot.

Look out for our two-part interview with Simmons about the new book, coming soon!
